I met this family at their farm and homestead in Madisonville. Grandma and grandpa surrounded by their kids and grandkids, it's such a special thing to photograph! We let the kids lead all while I gently directed them and the adults to play with the kids, enjoy them, and interact with their surroundings. 

I love finding dandelions wherever I'm photographing because what kid doesn't like to blow them?! And it makes for really fun and beautiful images.

The horses were fun for the kids to interact with as well and make for naturally beautiful photos for the wall.

In every extended family session, I always capture the whole family together in a couple different settings, individual families, siblings, individuals of all the kids, cousins, couples, and anything else the family would like. I make sure to get every grouping and a variety of portraits and storytelling images as well as at least one pulled back and more artistic photo that could be hung as art on the cilent's wall.
